Forged, limited anniversary series: the core of the knives of this exceptional series consists of very thin layers of highly alloyed "Double X VG 12" carbon steel with extreme hardness from 61˚ HRC. The result is a particularly efficient cut and a significant extension of the blade life. The layered stainless steel core is food-friendly. All knives in the 1778 series are ground and dressed by hand and the handle and blade are also crafted by Dick specialists.
