Material used:

WMF uses 18/10 stainless steel for most of its pots, registered under the brand Cromargan®. "Crom" in the name denotes chrome, while the remaining part of the name "argan" was derived from the Latin word "argentum", meaning silver. The name of this material aptly refers to the extra shiny appearance of the pots, which is due to the relatively high percentage of nickel.
