The Maya series was created in 1962 and has been a certain "family silver" of Scandinavian design ever since. Cutlery is characterised by a handle that tapers forward in a triangular pattern. And just like the other pieces in the series, this set of salad cutlery has a typical, almost circular scooping part. The set includes serving and slotted serving spoon and is made of stainless steel.
The series has been awarded several prestigious design prizes, has been selected for the world's best design and has been exhibited in museums such as MoMA in New York and London's Victoria and Albert Museum.
