The advantage of Function 4 stainless steel cookware is the use of the TransTherm® universal base, which is suitable for all types of heat, including induction. The bottom absorbs heat quickly and then transfers it evenly to the food being prepared. The pots are thus extremely suitable for boiling, stewing, frying, blanching or steaming. They can also be used for heating and baking in the oven up to 250 °C.

NOA Design designers have equipped the Function 4 pots with unique lids. These robust glass pot lids with stainless steel handles have a sufficiently large viewing area for easy control of the pot contents – plus a silicone ring for shock absorption. They have the added value of a controlled pouring function without the use of a colander, which saves time as well as dishes. The symbols marked on the top of the pot lid indicate how to position the lid for cooking with a small amount of water, for draining potatoes, pasta, rice, or for quickly pouring out the contents.

Function 4 cookware also features a wide curved rim for easy pouring. This prevents unwanted dripping or running of liquid down the outer walls of the pot. The internal measuring scale makes it easy to measure the optimal amount of liquids. The pots are easy to clean, dishwasher safe of course.

Material used:

WMF uses 18/10 stainless steel for most of its pots, registered under the Cromargan® brand. "Crom" in the name signifies chrome, while the rest of the name "argan" was derived from the Latin word argentum, meaning silver. The name of this material aptly refers to the extra shiny appearance of the pots, which is due to the relatively high percentage of nickel.

High-quality stainless steel Cromargan® was created by refining steel. It contains 72% steel, 18% chromium and 10% nickel. It is a durable, non-corrosive, food acid resistant material. Cromargan® is beautifully glossy and easy to clean.
