The TWINOX® sapphire nail file from ZWILLING is made of hardened stainless steel in a matt finish. The flexible "blade" of the file is coated with sapphire dust. The coarse side is used for easy shaping of the nail, the fine side for smoothing. It is recommended to use the file in one direction only, at a slight angle to the nail.
The file is one of the most important and most commonly used manicure tools. The tip of the file is designed in the shape of a nail cleaner, and a cuticle pusher is integrated in the handle.
