Samura knives are made from the finest Japanese and Swedish steel, hardened to 58 - 61 HRC. The blades have a Japanese shape and a gentle taper from the tip, which gives them fantastic cutting performance. Samura knives are sharpened at an angle of 17 degrees. This is more than Japanese knives, but less than European knives. For the handles, the best modern materials are used: Micarta, G10, stabilized wood, soft-touch plastic, Kraton, and composites.

Set of five Samura Harakiri steel kitchen knives includes: a medium fruit and vegetable knife (SHR-0011B) with a short blade (99 mm), a universal knife (SHR-0023B) with a medium-length blade (150 mm), a Nakiri knife (SHR-0043B) with a wide medium blade (170 mm), a chef's knife (SHR-0085B) with a wide and long blade (208 mm), and a Santoku knife (SHR-0095B) with a traditional Japanese-shaped blade (175 mm).
