Infrared radiation helps preserve all vitamins as well as other nutrients and minerals in food. For foods such as peaches, meat or fish, infrared radiation prevents decay. In this setup, you can easily prepare your own delicious "sun-dried" tomatoes, dried meats and other foods that need a little extra sunshine to get the right tasty consistency and flavor.

Shade drying is the right choice when food needs to be dried by controlled temperature and air circulation. A great and ideal setting for raw recipes such as vegetable chips, fruit pancakes etc. Thanks to the improved temperature control system, the temperature setting can be controlled and maintained throughout the drying process.

In addition, both drying programs can be set to both manual and automatic control. The Yden CI IR D5 is the only dryer on the market with a humidity sensor that monitors residual moisture during the drying process and adjusts the time and temperature settings for optimal drying results.

The Yden CI IR D5 solar dryer is equipped with 5 highly durable and hygienic stainless steel drying trays, a plastic drip tray and optional silicone inserts for drying solutions and purees.
