Kids knife N°07 MY FIRST OPINEL 8 cm, beech wood, with belt holster, Opinel

Product detailed description

As a first proper knife, MY FIRST OPINEL has one major advantage: the child gets something that is not a toy, but a real thing with a real purpose. And for an adult, it provides the perfect opportunity to explain that great equipment comes with great responsibility - which sounds almost like something out of a movie.

Main advantages:

• The MY FIRST OPINEL set offers young adventurers a real folding knife with a safer blade design and a practical sheath for trips, picnics and first outdoor activities.
• The 8 cm blade provides a practical size for slicing fruit, vegetables, preparing snacks and minor activities during outdoor stays.
• The rounded tip increases safety during use and is also well suited for spreading butter or preparing sandwiches on a picnic.
• Martensitic stainless steel with a hardness of 55-57 HRC offers high sharpness, mechanical resistance and good protection against corrosion during normal use.
• The blade's high resistance to wear helps maintain its cutting performance over the long term, even with regular use, before needing to be sharpened again.
• The varnished beech wood handle has a light natural look and preserves the characteristic appearance of traditional Opinel folding knives.
• The PEFC-certified beech wood comes from sustainably managed French forests, and its varnished surface protects the handle from moisture and dirt.
• The 10 cm handle provides plenty of space for a comfortable and controlled grip during the first experiences with a real folding knife.
• The Virobloc safety ring allows the blade to be locked in the open position during work and in the closed position during transport and storage.
• The set includes a blue belt sheath, allowing the young adventurer to keep their knife safely stored and easily at hand.
• The sheath is made of 100% recycled PET from crushed plastic bottles and complemented with elements of regenerated leather from leather production scraps.
• The compact set is suitable for camps, family trips, picnics and exploring nature, where children gain their first practical experience under adult supervision.
• The design is suitable for children from 7 years of age, who can gradually learn how to handle a knife correctly and the principles of safe work.
• The knife is made in France, and the set represents a practical gift that combines a traditional Opinel product with a sheath ready for outdoor adventures.
• Warning: MY FIRST OPINEL is not a toy and its sharp blade requires use by a child under adult supervision.
