Red wine glass SOMMELIERS BLACK TIE HERMITAGE 590 ml, RiedelCode: RD410030
Product detailed description
The godfather of the Hermitage Sommeliers glass is Marcel Guigal (one of the best winemakers on the northern Rhone).
It is to him that we owe the fact that after a two-year development phase (1993-1995) this shape was named the best for wines from the Rhone region, for the Syrah variety.
Syrah, one of the oldest wine grape varieties, is proven to have been cultivated in the region by the ancient Romans. Syrah produces dark, full-bodied wines with high tannins and good ageing potential.
The Hermitage Sommeliers glass supports the typical aroma, reminiscent of roasted bread and black olives. The shape and flow characteristics give the wine a velvety structure with a balanced taste sensation. The tannins are woven into the fruity taste, making the tannins sweet and losing the drying, bitter aftertaste in the mouth.
We recommend the Hermitage Sommeliers Black Tie Riedel glass for:
- Shiraz, Syrah
